STYLE: White Bordeaux/Fume Blanc
Dry white wines from Bordeaux are typically dominated by Sauvignon Blanc with a blending of Sémillon and sometimes small amounts of Ugni Blanc, Merlot Blanc, Muscadelle, and Colombard.Origin:
White Bordeaux blends of course originate in Bordeaux but have been imitated elsewhere. Fume Blanc originated in California and is really not a copy of the white wines from Bordeaux.
