STYLE: Trebbiano/Ugni Blanc
Trebbiano is the most planted white variety in Italy. Trebbiano produces wines that are neutral, low in alcohol, crisp, and fairly high in acidity. Trebbiano is used for production of many blended wines as well as brandy, especially in France where the variety is known as Ugni Blanc.Origin:
Trebbiano has a recorded history going back more than 700 years. It would appear that Trebbiano originated in Italy where there are many variations of the variety.
